About James
My name is James, I have spent my adult life working in one-to-one advisory/counselling style roles, Law Graduate, CIPD qualified, Human resources and youth work, now a trained Substance Misuse Worker and SMART Facilitator. The added bonus, I am in recovery myself from addictive behaviours, my life if my work and it's my passion to help those who have been or are in some of the lonely places and stages of life that I have experienced first-hand.

My teaching style is largely based on the CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) approach that we can all, as I put it, 'retrain our brains' to move away from our addictions and move toward a meaningful and fulfilling life. You are still you, your life skills, qualifications, job experience hasn't gone anywhere - it just needs waking up again OR like me, take a passion and start fresh!
