About Abdul
From 18/08/2015 to till now, I am lecturer at INTO-UEA. I am module leader for Introductory Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Development Economics for international year one (Undergraduate level). I am also responsible to supervise MSc students dissertation at School of Economics, University of East Anglia. From 2010 to 2015, I was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of East Anglia. I have taught modules in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Intermediate Economics, and Economics for International Business, Introductory Mathematics and Statistics for Economists and Econometrics. I was a postgraduate teaching assistant for Multinational Firms.

As a teacher, my teaching philosophy and my approach are to equip students with tools, skills and passion to question received wisdom and to think and form opinions independently. To achieve it in the class, I create an environment that fosters critical thinking and opens a room for free discussion. To this end, I use different strategies such as student-focused teaching techniques and innovative learning supports at different levels to stimulate students’ interest in, and excite their passion for, the subject.

Perfect! Abdul tutored my son in Economics at A level. He was very passionate and dedicated, although my son switched over to economics a bit later in his studies, he supported him to prepare and do well in his economics examinations. He fell in love with economics at uni that he switched from accounting to study economics. Thanks Abdul.
