About William
I, William Pedley, am currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at Notre Dame. I very successfully completed a University Prep Course at ECU semester one 2023 and gained entry into the Bachelor of Education (Primary) undergraduate degree at Notre Dame, in semester two, 2023. I have lived in Bunbury all my life and have been exclusively educated at Catholic Schools, St Mary’s Catholic Primary School Bunbury; kindergarten to year 6, and Bunbury Catholic College year 7-12.I have moved to Perth to study and have made some amazing friends and have had great experiences at College.

I am a committed to becoming a passionate teacher. I believe that it is important to develop self-efficacy in learners by motivating students to ascertain their inner strengths and abilities through the provision of a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to be their best selves. I work hard at understanding my students as real human beings and recognise the importance of building relationships with them to create a positive climate in the classroom, where inclusivity is key and students develop an appreciation of different people, their backgrounds and abilities. I understand the importance of incorporating technology in the teaching and learning process as this is essential aspect of learner engagement. I appreciate and support the need to extend students’ social and educational skills through extra-curricular activities
