About James

I’m a patient, dedicated, and well-prepared tutor who takes language learning seriously while keeping it enjoyable and stress-free. I’ve taught students at many different levels, and I always make sure my lessons are structured, clear, and tailored to each person’s goals. My background with German gives me a strong foundation in grammar, pronunciation, and practical conversation, and I take the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. Students can expect someone who is reliable, organized, and genuinely invested in their progress. I’m committed to helping you build confidence, stay consistent, and actually enjoy the process of learning German.

About the lesson

I teach German from absolute beginner to advanced in a clear, relaxed way that takes the stress out of language learning. In our first lesson I’ll ask about your goals (class, mission prep, travel, exams, or conversation) and then build a simple plan just for you. A typical lesson mixes quick grammar explanations with lots of speaking, listening, and practical examples so you actually use the language, not just memorize rules.

I’m patient, encouraging, and good at breaking tricky concepts into steps. I correct gently and explain why something is right or wrong, so it sticks. My lessons are great for high-school and university students, adult learners, and anyone who wants confident, natural German.
