Study does not need to feel overwhelming. My approach starts with understanding each student’s needs; then we work together to achieve their specific academic goals.

About Mohammad

I have spent more than 25 years in education because I believe the right teacher can change lives. My journey into the humanities began with a deep fascination for human society, history, belief and culture, and that passion has never faded. I teach because I know how transformative it feels when a subject truly clicks. Too many students are made to feel that academic success is not for them, and I am committed to challenging that. Whether in the classroom or one‑to‑one, my mission is to inspire curiosity, build confidence and unlock every student's potential.

My approach: teaching that actually works
I tutor across GCSE and IGCSE English Literature, History, Sociology and Religious Education, and at A Level I teach Sociology, Religious Education (Islam), History and Philosophy.

Most tutoring simply repeats what happens in the classroom. I do something different. From the very first session, I take time to understand not only where you are academically, but how you think, why certain topics feel difficult, and what motivates you. No two students are the same, and no two of my sessions are either.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of the previous session, consolidating key points and addressing any questions. This is a conversation, not a test. We then move into the focus area for the day, planned in advance but flexible enough to follow your understanding. New material is introduced clearly, broken into manageable steps and connected to real examples that make it memorable. Every session includes active discussion, because the humanities are not subjects you memorise; they are subjects you question, argue and explore. We finish with a brief summary, agreed actions and a clear plan for what comes next.

What makes this different

Sessions are built around you: your syllabus, your exam board, your needs and your ambitions. I combine academic rigour with genuine accessibility. You will be challenged but never overwhelmed.

I draw on more than 25 years of experience across multiple subjects and boards, so I know exactly where students lose marks and how to address it. I help you think independently and write persuasively, skills that strengthen every exam and every piece of coursework.

Progress is tracked throughout, with honest and constructive feedback that supports real improvement.

Online group tuition
Online groups can accommodate up to ten students. This option works well for learners who enjoy interactive discussion but need the flexibility of studying from home.

Maximum group size for online tuition: ten students

How group sessions work
Group lessons are planned carefully to ensure that every student participates and makes progress. Activities are structured, discussion is guided and each learner receives individual feedback within the group setting. This approach allows students to learn from one another while still receiving targeted support.
