My teaching techniques are mostly based on engagement and activities. For vocabulary synoptically: 1. Eliciting: Mime/ Drawings/ context/ Pictures/ Synonyms/ Antonyms/ Definition/ 2. Trailing: To write down a couple of the letters and make couple of the initial sounds to help jog students' memory. 3. Labelling part of the speech. 4. CCQ: Concept check questions. And as a brief explanation for grammar techniques: 1. Starting with capable examples. 2. Asking the students whether they have seen that before. 3. Teaching the function. 4. Teaching structure: How it's formed. 5. Rechecking the past steps. This is a brief explanation of how the process of learning English in general would look like in my class. By the way, the free discussions are very important at the classes as well and every session the grammar and vocabulary goes until whenever the students are answering CCQ quite well which shows they learned everything. The lessons have been categorised for all levels from the starter to advanced and for children above 7 years old, teenagers and all adults.
