About Kathryn
I started the violin at an early age and performed most of my life as soloist, chamber musician and have some orchestral experience. When I had my daughters, who are both performing artists, I fell in love with teaching and mentoring my students and their careers. And presently have a wonderful balance with teaching and some performing.

Each lesson has an objective. We will master each together. Coaching for upcoming auditions and competitions are my speciality but I also to simply share my inspiration for music.
I have successful students winning prizes at big competitions like Menuhin and Tschaikowski, students having been accepted at Juilliard, Harvard, NEC among others. But also love to work with complete beginners who want the best teacher and are interested to learn.
