About Amelia
My name is Amelia Williams and I am 18 years old and a first year at the University of Tennessee. I have given basic trumpet lessons to elementary students through my school and am looking to extend my teaching to other students online. I love teaching children about music because it is something that I am very passionate about and I am especially passionate about trumpet, as it holds a special place in my heart after 7 years of playing. I won the director's award and was a band leader in my high school band. I am here because I want to teach and extend my love for this instrument and music in general.

I will teach your beginner students the foundation of playing the trumpet, such as technique, basic music knowledge, and never-ending encouragement. No prior knowledge needed about playing an instrument or music in general. I will pour my heart into teaching your students as well as getting to know them as individuals so that my lessons can be personalized based on their needs, learning style, and prior knowledge. I am excited to get to know your students and help them take their first steps into the amazing instrument that is the trumpet!

Details
Usually trumpet tutors go for around $40/hour, but because I am also a beginner tutor my base price is half of that. I can still 100% guarantee 110% effort into teaching your students and giving them a personalized and helpful lesson plan. I highly recommend the Rush's music trumpet Essential Elements book 1, but not needed.
