As a tutor I will provide the student with hands-on learning mostly, providing white boards with markers, pencil and paper, and interactive games/activities to help with spelling, grammar, writing, etc. On days that a student gets a graded assignment back from a teacher for example, I would prefer to work with them on what they did well and what they can improve, as well as giving them the steps to do so. One of my main goals is to learn the student's strengths and weaknesses, in order to help them with the areas they struggle in the most. I will work with elementary and middle school students.
