About Gabriela
Hi there! I am Gabriela and I am 19 years old. I am studying a Double Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education with English here in Madrid. I have always wanted to be a teacher because I really like teaching and interacting with children. I have studied English all my life and I have taken courses in cities like Dublin or California.
I have been a monitor in groups of children from 5 to 12 years old and now I participate in a volunteer with children as well. Last year I was able to do an internship at a school in the center of Madrid and I spent almost a month in two classes of 4th grade helping with mathematics and the Spanish language.
I want to work in a practical way but without forgetting the contents. I think it is necessary to apply what has been explained to you previously so that there is a correct acquisition of knowledge.

I would like to teach and / or support the contents in a practical and fun way, while always keeping the theory in mind. I believe that one of the most important functions of teachers is to enable students to take advantage of, benefit from, and enjoy their classes. In addition, I consider it essential that the little ones participate in my classes so that they expose their ideas, do not be ashamed and clarify their doubts.
Regarding bilingual subjects or English, I propose several games and dynamic activities among which would be: see videos on the use of English and film clips to enrich their vocabulary, or choose and read short books to familiarize them with this language
My classes are aimed at primary and nursery school children. Also to those who have any educational need but within the primary or infant stage. With these, he would work with dynamics that adapt to his needs but always giving the same content.
