About Clémentine
I am a first year student at Sciences Po Grenoble. My mother being bilingual, I had a very high level of English since my youngest age. I joined the British International Section in high school, which allowed me to take courses in literature, but also history-geography in English for a total of more than 8 hours per week. This section, in addition to improving my level of English, allowed me to learn how to manage my time and be effective in my work, and it's these methods that I want to pass on to the student. I also took the TOEFL, an exam aimed at quantifying academic skills in English (comprehension and expression, both oral and written), and obtained a total score of 115 out of 120.

For the first class, I try to judge what I think are the strengths and weaknesses of the student. I prefer a rather free methodology that fits the needs of the student to a strict course that could be too prepared. The goal is to be able to learn effectively, and for this, the student must be active in his learning. I see the course as a partnership between the student and me to achieve better results. I bring them the methodologies he needs to know how to learn from himself. This involves an evaluation of the memorization techniques that work for him, but also the use of tools that are very rarely presented by teachers, such as mind mapping.
