Since I am pursuing psychology and sociology, I emphasize empathetically approaching each student. I teach my class using a variety of methods and techniques. Some of them are built solely on the basis of my personal experience, others are inspired by my mother, who is also a teacher. I use real-life examples to simplify and clarify concepts. I stress on taking notes to facilitate the same. I also believe lecture methods can only do so much. Hence I consider PowerPoint presentations and online content (such as videos and flow charts) as effective resources. I believe in taking things one day at a time. I also stress on being thorough with the structure of the study material.
