About Carmen

I am Carmen Melendo, a student of Educational Psychology at the University of Navarra, and in May 2019 I graduated in Primary Education with a bilingual specialty from the same university, and I also obtained an extraordinary award for my academic record.

I have experience teaching school support classes in English and other school subjects, as well as giving conversation classes (to both children and adults). I am currently working as an extra-curricular teacher for primary school students.

About the lesson

I am an elementary school teacher graduated from the University of Navarra, and I am currently studying educational psychology at the same university.

Due to the COVID, students have not been to school for the last 3 months, which may make their return to class in September a little harder than usual... That's why I'm offering to give support classes in any subject.

I can also give classes to children in English as a reinforcement or to sit an exam, because although I am not a native speaker, I have the Proficiency in English Certificate (C2) from the University of Cambridge, and I also have a perfectly British accent since I lived 3 years as a child in England, where I studied the GCSEs (ESO). I also have the TKT: Content and Language Integrated Learning from the University of Cambridge, which certifies that I am able to teach subjects in English.

I like to make my classes very dynamic and focused on the student and their interests. In the classes I give to primary school students I like to teach through play, as I believe it is the learning tool par excellence.
