About Paula
I have been a player for at least 15 years, I started to improve and I got good places in national, regional championships.
I have been a teaching for 6 years and I teach children and adults: classes at home or at schools. Currently I am part of an extension project of University of São Paulo (USP): chess for the visually impaired. Classes with great dynamism and professionalism.

It is important to remember that chess is the second most practiced sport in the world and have been used in various groups of children, adults and the elderly. This happens because the person plays chess, is developing static motor coordination and concentration. Its practice leads to a state of relaxation of the brain structures while stimulating the mental areas that help in the development of memory, patience, self-control, creativity, logical reasoning, decision-making, among others.
