About Imi
I’m a French and History student on my way to Cambridge this autumn. I lived in Switzerland for five years as a child and grew up speaking French, which gave me a strong foundation that carried through into my A-Level studies. I tutor because I really enjoy helping others build confidence in French, whether that’s untangling tricky grammar or getting comfortable speaking out loud. I’m patient, encouraging, and always happy to explain things a different way until it clicks.

I recently completed my A-Levels, including AQA French, and I’m heading to Cambridge to study History and French this autumn. Having gone through GCSE and A-Level French myself, I know exactly what examiners look for. I’ve also given one-off tutoring sessions to students in Year 6, Year 9, and Year 10, so I’m comfortable adapting to different ages and levels. My lessons typically run for an hour and focus on building confidence through clear grammar explanations, plenty of speaking practice, and past paper technique.
