About Gabriel
I am a writer and composer currently studying at the University of St Andrews for an MA(Hons) in English. Graduating from the International Baccalaureate in 2020, I achieved a score of 44, with maximum scores at Higher Level (7/7/7) and in the Extended Essay (A). I love teaching others to excel in analysing literary texts and crafting coherent, stylish essays that do well both in coursework and exam settings. What sets me apart is my extensive self-driven study in areas like philosophy and music, where I've reached a conservatory graduate level. This has taught me how to learn quickly, effectively, and with passion, and I hope to bring the same to my teaching. I'm a dedicated learner, and I'm excited to share my passion for knowledge and achievement with my students.

For A-level and IB I am also equipped to aid in the writing of coursework and Extended Essays. My approach to tutoring is personalised to the student. I can guide you in developing practical, actionable tools for exam success, such as detailed essay plans and knowledge sheets. These tools make revision more manageable, reduce stress, and improve exam strategy. Secondly, it is important to make learning more enjoyable. I believe in turning revision into a fun and rewarding experience through creative techniques and understanding the link to topics beyond the syllabus.
