About Helena
I finished my Bachelor of Electromechanical Engineering in September and wish to do a Master in the field of education. I have experience in one-on-one classes, after helping several students aged 10 to 15 for 7 months, I have already worked in a kindergarten for 7 months and volunteered in a school in Kenya for 2 months. I am bilingual French and English and I have an intermediate level in Dutch and Spanish.

I mainly base my classes on the materials given by the teacher and give a lot of importance to the specific questions of my student. I have a fairly free approach to teaching and I believe that the most effective method is to really follow the needs and questions of each individual by slowing down on topics that give more difficulty to each student. I also base my learning a lot on understanding and putting into practice, using a lot of exercises, rather than memorizing material.
