About Siya

16+:
Having sat the 16+ at Westminster, Godolfin and Latimer and KCS, and received places at all 3 I am aware of the many different forms a 16+ paper can take- from an IQ test, to subject assessments, to general maths and English papers. My approach is to do strenuous research on what each school is looking for- but mainly to teach interesting talking points for interview and conduct mocks.

University admissions:
Having received offer's from Cambridge, Edinburgh, UCL, KCL, and Manchester, I am familiar with entrance exams and interviews as well as perfecting the personal statement. I have edited more than 20 humanities personal statements that have seen great success at top universities. However, though I can help with any humanity, my s lie in English as I can conduct mock interviews and help with the ELAT and personal statement more specifically.

About the lesson

4+, 11+, 13+:
For students sitting school entrance exams at this level, my approach is quite h, working with the student as much as they need to prepare for both interviews and exams in all subjects. I have helped students get into top London schools including Westminster, St Paul's, City of London, North London Collegiate, and many more. With lots of experience in public speaking, I conduct mock interviews to help students out of their shells and show their natural intellect- which I believe has been the key to my student's success beyond practice for the exams.

GCSE:
I feel confident in helping my students to achieve top grade in the following subjects: biology, maths, english literature, english language, history, geography, and religious studies. Having achieved all 9's in my GCSE's (sat only 2 years ago,) my approach to teaching GCSE is through distributing my own resources and writing together and marking essay's/papers. With this, I have helped students reach top grades from starting at a level 4 or 5.
