About Alex
Currently a student studying at Warsash Maritime Academy. Having played the violin and piano for 13 years I would like to share my experiences with future students. With the violin I have toured South Africa, Germany and North America. My piano/ keyboard skills have led me to tour the west coast of Scotland as part of a Ceilidh Band. I have studied under both ABRSM and trinity guildhall for grade 8. I also have grade 5 music theory as well has SQA Advanced Higher in music.

Every lesson would be about giving feedback to both pupils and parents. In the first lesson I aim to discover the pupil's strengths and also their weaknesses. The most important part of a pupil's career is their musicality. My aim is to further their Independence with the goal for the pupil to sight read and understand the wider musical world. I would teach future pupils the way I have been taught which would include 30-45 minute lessons each week depending on the pupil's schedule as well as my own.
