About Raphaël
I have been teaching C, Python, Rust and a bit of algorithms to second-year students in preparatory classes at EPITA for a year. I will soon be teaching Java to third year engineer students.
Looking for the best solutions for my projects has led me to learn to use many technologies and languages.
Of an understanding nature, I always try to know how to explain things in several different ways, but never without a good diagram to accompany the explanation!

My courses rely heavily on visual aids, ranging from simple graphics to image-based exercises, which help immensely in understanding the concepts needed to produce simple, quality code.
A one to two hour lesson is usually separated into three main parts:
1. we note the progress since the last session on the exercises / TPs if there were any, then we correct the possible errors in them by re-explaining the concepts and providing advice on the structure of the code,
2. if the previous concepts are well integrated, we approach a new concept with small practical exercises with live help,
3. we end with a short introduction of the small exercises proposed from now until the next session and an idea of a mini-project for practical work.
My classes are mainly aimed at middle school / high school students interested in programming, but anyone wishing to learn is welcome :)
