About Nina
I’m a guitar teacher with over 6 years of experience and an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals. My passion lies in helping students shine on stage and sound great in a group. I specialise in coaching for band auditions, ensemble playing, and live performance dynamics. Whether you're preparing for your first gig or looking to improve your timing and energy with a group, I’m here to guide you. My teaching style is both encouraging and focused. I believe in building confidence through repetition, feedback, and stage-ready techniques. We’ll work on rhythmic tightness, strong musical cues, and smooth transitions between parts. I also emphasise creative collaboration—how to listen, adapt, and blend your sound with others. Stage presence is another key part of my lessons. I’ll help you find your performance voice, whether subtle or bold. From rehearsal planning to final run-throughs, we’ll prepare with intention and heart. Music is a team sport, and I’m excited to help you thrive in every role you play.

My guitar teaching approach blends creativity with clear structure, helping students build both skill and confidence. I focus on creating original songs using guitar as a storytelling tool. Lessons often include songwriting exercises, exploring lyrical composition, and learning how to choose chord progressions that fit the mood. We also work on arranging acoustic pieces that highlight your personal style and voice. Each session is designed to spark ideas while giving you practical tools to shape them. I guide students in turning raw emotions into meaningful music. Whether you're writing your first song or refining your tenth, we take each step with care. For students passionate about blues or rock, I help you find your own sound while teaching the foundations that make the genre strong. My approach includes ear training, technique building, and exploring different song forms. I adapt my methods to fit your goals, whether you're a quiet poet or a future stage performer. We'll also use simple tools like loops or recording apps to support your process. I aim to create a space where your musical voice can grow. Together, we'll bring your musical stories to life—one chord at a time.
