About Gemma
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and have 10 years of teaching experience. My passion for piano comes from years of performance and musical study. I enjoy helping students grow from beginners into confident musicians. Every learner has a different journey, and I support them throughout their progress.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I believe clear guidance and consistent practice lead to strong musical growth. Lessons are adapted to each student’s pace and goals. I focus on both technical strength and musical expression.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and studying new teaching methods. These experiences help me improve lesson quality. I enjoy seeing students achieve milestones through dedication. My goal is to help learners build lifelong confidence in music.

My piano lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while developing musical expression. I begin with finger exercises, hand coordination, rhythm training, note reading, scale practice, and chord understanding. Students also learn dynamics control, articulation, and tempo stability. Each concept is taught step by step to ensure clarity and steady progress. My goal is to make piano learning structured and easy to understand.
As students improve, lessons include sight reading, duet playing, ear training, improvisation, and repertoire development. I encourage creative exploration alongside technical practice. Students follow structured practice routines to build consistency and discipline. Feedback is given regularly to guide improvement. This helps learners stay motivated and focused.
Advanced learners focus on performance preparation, expressive interpretation, and technical refinement. I also support exam readiness and audition preparation. My goal is to help students become confident pianists who perform with clarity and expression.
