About Brittany
My teaching journey has helped me understand that every guitarist develops differently. Some students enjoy learning songs quickly, while others prefer building strong foundations before moving forward.
With a Music Degree and 9 years of teaching experience, I've worked with children and adult students at different levels. These experiences have taught me how to balance technique, creativity, and individual goals.
I enjoy watching students achieve moments they once thought were difficult, like playing a full song or creating their own ideas. Helping students enjoy music while improving their skills is what makes teaching special.

Learning guitar should feel exciting, so my classes combine technique practice with music you actually enjoy. I adjust each lesson based on your experience, goals, and preferred style, helping you improve while keeping the learning process enjoyable.
We'll explore chords, strumming patterns, rhythm guitar, fingerstyle playing, picking techniques, lead guitar skills, improvisation, songwriting basics, and music theory. We may practise a favourite song, create simple melodies, or spend time improving a section that needs extra attention.
I'll provide clear practice steps, helpful feedback, and achievable goals after each lesson. Over time, you'll build stronger skills, play with more confidence, and enjoy creating music in your own style.
