About Élise

I’m Elise, and I’m an aspiring English professor. I love teaching people my language as I recently moved to England from my home country, France, and it’s amazing to be able to connect with my culture and to help others connect with it too! Tutoring you or your child will help prepare me for my future career and help me share my culture and my language with students.

About the lesson

I’m happy to work with any student, from beginner to more advanced, and help you achieve the best grades you can (or just have fun learning language!) I can help adapt to your learning style as I believe everyone should be able to learn a language and achieve top grades. I try to make my tutoring lessons fun but still academic and efficient, teaching you phrases you'll actually use and vocabulary that's relevant to you.

Elise is a lovely tutor, who has been very helpful in helping me with a variety of subjects (English literature, English language and French). Not only is she just a good teacher, but demonstrates huge passion and interest in literature. Whether you need help understanding texts or structuring essays, she has been incredible helpful with both !I could not recommend anyone as highly as I would recommend her!
