About Liz
WHILE I ATTENDED COLUMBIA COLLEGE CHICAGO TO RECEIVE MY FULL TECHNICAL TRAINING, I ALSO LOVED WORKING AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT WITHIN THE SCHOOL’S FASHION DEPARTMENT. AS AN ASSISTANT, THE OFFICIAL SCHOOL’S DESIGNATED HEAD INSTRUCTOR FOR EACH CLASS TAUGHT WOULD ALLOW ME TO PERFORM DEMONSTRATIONS OF VARIOUS DESIGN TECHNIQUES AND LESSONS TO ENTIRE CLASSROOMS OF 30-45 STUDENTS EACH, I WAS ABLE TO AID ALL STUDENTS WITHIN EACH OF THESE CLASSES I AIDED FOR, WITH INSTRUCTOR APPROVED ASSISTANCE AND GUIDANCE AND WAS ALLOWED TO DO ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING FOR ANY STUDENT IN NEED OF ANY TYPE OF HELP.

I AM A GRADUATE OF THE COLUMBIA COLLEGE CHICAGO FINE ARTS PROGRAM, WITH A BACHELOR'S OF FINE ARTS DEGREE WITH A CONCENTRATION IN FASHION DESIGN AND MERCHANDISING. I WAS ALSO A TEACHING ASSISTANT IN THE FASHION DESIGN DEPARTMENT FOR ALL 4 1/2 YRS I ATTENDED THE SCHOOL. SINCE FINISHING SCHOOL, I HAVE A COMBINED 16 YRS TOP EXPERIENCE IN PATTERN AND SAMPLE MAKING CONSTRUCTION OF MEN'S, WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S CLOTHING AND COSTUMES. I HAVE HELD HIGHLY ESTEEMED JOBS WITHIN THE FASHION INDUSTRY SUCH AS HEAD PATTERN MAKER, LEAD DESIGNER, HEAD TAILOR AND OVERSEAS MANUFACTURING AND DESIGN LIAISON. AND MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE AND MOST HIGHLY SKILLED SPECIALTY WOULD HAVE TO BE CUSTOM LEATHER JACKETS AND GARMENTS COMPLETELY FROM SCRATCH, FROM INITIAL CONCEPT ALL THE WAY TO FINISHED LEATHER GARMENT IN 3-D AND READY TO ROCK!!!!
