About Sephora
I am a Project Manager with five years of professional experience, having transitioned into the field from a background in engineering education. Having made a successful career change myself, I understand first-hand the challenges, uncertainties, and learning curve that come with moving into project management from a different discipline.
My motivation for teaching comes from combining real-world project management experience with strong teaching and mentoring skills. I focus on delivering clear, practical, and easy-to-understand sessions that break down complex concepts into manageable, relatable guidance. My approach is interactive and adaptable, ensuring each session meets learners where they are and equips them with the confidence, knowledge, and direction needed to take their first steps into a project management career.

These sessions provide practical, hands-on support for individuals preparing to enter project management roles across both the public and private sectors. Participants will explore different interview styles, including Civil Service–specific competency and behaviour-based interviews, as well as private sector and commercial interview formats.
The programme also covers how to adapt and tailor CVs for different project management industries, such as IT, healthcare, and campaign or programme-based roles, ensuring participants understand how to position their experience effectively for each sector. In addition, the sessions include live IT-focused interview preparation demonstrations and mock interviews, giving participants the opportunity to practise responses, receive constructive feedback, and build confidence in a realistic interview setting.
