About Nienke

I am a qualified teacher who has a natural love for learning and teaching. I gained a BA degree specializing in English and History, thereafter an Honors degree in History. I have been teaching for two years so far, in multiple phases. I have experience teaching ADHD and Autistic learners as well as neurotypical learners, which has enabled me to understand how diverse learners are and how diverse their learning needs may be. I believe that every learner has the potential to reach their goals, given that they are committed and receive the right support for them.

About the lesson

I believe in making lessons as practical and interesting as possible i.e. teaching learners to not only get a grasp on the subject matter but also learn essential skills such as critical thinking. I believe in a learner-centered approach as all learners are different and learn differently. My lessons also contain multiple forms of media which both enriches the learning process and helps learners retain information.
