About Wren

I am an experienced Flute teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience, working with School students, College students, and working professionals. I am passionate about helping students discover the joy of playing the flute through structured and meaningful lessons.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals. I train students in correct posture, breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone clarity, rhythm, and musical expression. Lessons are customised to match each student’s level and goals.

I believe learning is most effective through clear communication and regular practice. I explain concepts simply and provide step-by-step guidance. Accountability is maintained through progress reviews and practice planning. I teach with integrity by offering honest feedback and steady encouragement.

In addition to flute, I teach music theory, notation reading, rhythm exercises, and basic performance skills. I support students with exam preparation, auditions, and recitals.

About the lesson

I teach flute using a methodology centred around Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, designed to develop both technical skill and musical expression.
