About Alejandro
Language student and fervent seeker of the truth. Having had experiences of harmonizing and reaching deep states of consciousness through the voice, it became my passion. I have taken medicine music courses taught by Nacel Arcoíris and Sendero Hunab Ku, as well as hours and hours of listening, searching, experimenting, feeling and investigating how and why sacred sound is so transcendent. In 2019 I co-created the Mindsurf harmonic choir with my friend Karina Malpica, seeking to share, expand and explore the healing power of sound. These classes are aimed at all those who wish to explore sound as a harmonizing tool. It is not necessary to have previous knowledge of music or singing. If you are a good listener, this course will be particularly comfortable and useful for you.
The course is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, we'll cover what sound and singing are, and why medicine music has such an impact on our being. In praxis, different methods and techniques are explored, such as active listening, conscious vocalization, harmonic or overtone singing, mantras, etc.
Face-to-face classes are offered, however, thanks to the pandemic we have expanded paths and now they are also given through the Zoom platform. All digital resources for praxis are provided.
