About Dyce
Meet Dyce Kimura – Professional Singer & Vocal Coach
For more than 20 years, Dyce Kimura has been teaching singers how to develop stronger, more confident voices while building a professional career as a singer, musician, recording artist, and instructor.
Dyce's musical journey began at age five in Japan, where he discovered an old guitar at his grandparents' home and developed a lifelong passion for music. At 19, he moved to the United States with a duffel bag, a guitar, and a determination to make music his career. By 21, he was working professionally—performing, recording, and teaching full time.
Years of professional singing and live performance gave Dyce firsthand experience with what singers need most: range, power, control, endurance, pitch, tone, and the ability to perform confidently without unnecessary vocal strain.
Today, Dyce specializes in one-on-one singing lessons and vocal coaching, helping students understand their individual voices rather than forcing everyone into the same technique. His approach combines practical vocal exercises with real songs, allowing students to immediately apply what they're learning to the music they love.
Dyce works with complete beginners, experienced singers, worship vocalists, performing musicians, and aspiring professionals. Lessons can focus on expanding vocal range, strengthening the upper register, improving pitch and tone, developing vocal power, smoothing transitions between registers, reducing tension, building stamina, and increasing confidence.
As a professional performer and teacher, Dyce understands that great singing is about more than hitting the right notes. It's about learning how to communicate, connect, and develop a voice that sounds authentically like you.
Now teaching online from his professional home studio in South Florida, Dyce works with singers wherever they are—bringing more than two decades of real-world teaching and performance experience directly to each student.
