About Miles
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Stanford with a focus on Graphics (think rendering, optics, linear algebra) in 2014. Since then, I have worked as a full-stack and backend engineer at a few different cool Bay Area companies where I learned to apply the skills I now want to teach. Things like data structures and algorithms, good object oriented design, how to write clean, optimized code, and understanding databases and how to use them effectively. I know as well as anyone how difficult programming can be, but I have found that once you get ideas to "click", they become really intuitive to use. My goal is to find ways to make different concepts "click", and to discover the joy in applying those concepts in engaging and interesting ways.
