About ALAN
I’ve been dancing salsa and bachata latin dances for 3 years with Latin fire dance company in Canada, and during that time, I had the privilege of being part of a dance show team. I’ve performed at street events, Latin festivals, and dance socials across Southwestern Ontario. Dance has become a huge part of my life, and I’m excited to share that passion with you. Whether you want to have fun or work on improving your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Teaching Techniques and Approach
I specialize in teaching beginners, making salsa and bachata fun and stress-free. My lessons focus on rhythm, posture, and timing, with personalized feedback to ensure steady progress and a strong foundation, even for complete beginners.
Class Structure
The basic classes last for 2 months, with 8 one-hour sessions (4 sessions per month). Each class begins with a warm-up, followed by basic steps, turns, and simple combinations. We also cover solo footwork (shines) and partner work for couples. We finish with a practice routine to reinforce what you’ve learned, ensuring steady progress and plenty of time to master the basics of salsa and bachata.

These classes are perfect for adults and teens who are absolute beginners or have little dance experience. Whether you’re learning for fun, fitness, or to shine at your next event, this is the ideal starting point for your dance journey!
