About David
I am a visual artist, spatial designer, and educator with an MA in Interior and Spatial Design from Camberwell (Distinction) and a BSc in Architecture from BHT in Berlin.
Currently, I work as a Specialist Technician at LCF, where I provide professional expertise and guidance to students and staff working with digital media and immersive technologies (VR/AR/MR), visual programming, photogrammetry, 3D modelling, architectural design, animation and other digital skills.

Approach to Tutoring:
As an experienced educator with a background in architecture, spatial design, and new media, my approach to tutoring is interdisciplinary and hands-on. I specialise in teaching 3D modeling, game development, texturing, animation, architectural and environment design, and photogrammetry, using software such as Unreal Engine, Blender, SketchUp, RealityCapture and Substance Painter.
Lesson Structure:
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing ample time to dive deep into topics and work on practical exercises. I tailor each session to the specific needs and goals of students, ensuring they gain both confidence and competence in their chosen area.
Qualifications & Experience:
With an MA in Interior and Spatial Design (Distinction) and a BSc in Architecture, I bring over three years of industry experience as an Architectural Assistant at dMFK Architects, where I contributed to major projects in London and Frankfurt. I founded David Reason Studio, where I specialise in motion design, XR, and spatial design for the fashion, music, and art industries. My teaching experience spans roles as a Specialist Technician at LCF, a Short Course Tutor at CCW, and an Associate Lecturer for the BA Visual Merchandising and Branding course at LCF.
