About Laura
I am a fully qualified primary teacher with QTS and I have worked in primary schools in England and Wales. I also spent 6 years working in a Specialist Provision with pupils aged up to 19 years old before becoming a full-time tutor in 2025.

I am a passionate teacher with over 13 years' experience of teaching in primary mainstream and specialist provision in England and Wales. I have extensive experience of supporting learners with SEND, working both in schools and as a Tutor, and I am committed to fostering an inclusive educational experience that promotes student wellbeing and success. I am proficient in Makaton level 1 and have comprehensive training for supporting students with Autism, ADHD, ODD, PDA and SEMH. I have a calm and nurturing approach, using positive encouragement, identifying gaps in learning and reinforcing concepts so that each learner is able to achieve to their fullest potential.
