About Izzy

I’m an Inclusion and SEN specialist teacher currently working at Brighton College Abu Dhabi, with over 10 years of experience supporting learners of all abilities and needs.
I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, which means I deeply understand the local education system, the pressures families face, and the cultural context that shapes how children learn here.
I hold a Master’s degree in Pedagogy and Education and a degree in Applied Psychology giving me both the academic knowledge and the practical tools to support every child as an individual.
I offer tutoring across all subjects up to Year 9 in the British curriculum, with a strong focus on academic support, learning differences, and building genuine confidence in students who may have previously struggled in traditional classroom settings.
My goal is simple to help every child feel capable, supported and ready to thrive.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully personalized to each student’s unique learning profile, needs and goals. With over 10 years of experience as an Inclusion and SEN specialist, I understand that every child learns differently and I use that understanding to make real progress happen.
Whether your child has a diagnosis such as dyslexia, ADHD, or autism, or simply needs extra academic support, I create a safe, structured and encouraging environment where they can thrive. My approach is rooted in evidence-based strategies, differentiated instruction and a deep understanding of how the brain learns.
I hold a Master’s degree in Pedagogy and Education, a degree in Applied Psychology, and work daily as an Inclusion Teacher so you’re not just getting a tutor, you’re getting a specialist who truly understands your child.
