About Xenia
I have had the opportunity to teach all core and foundation subjects, and my job involves planning, teaching, and assessing of all curriculum areas. I always have many opportunities to develop my skills and abilities as a teacher. My mentors offered regular, valuable feedback, and this helped to shape my practice as a teacher. I have used this information to build upon my skills to make a positive impact on the wellbeing and attainment of all pupils.
I have a passion for working with children. I enjoy nurturing their talents and helping them to overcome challenges they may face on a daily basis. When teaching, I consistently demonstrate secure subject knowledge. I feel that my personality and skills aid me to be an all-rounded teacher; I am extremely organised and have excellent time management. I have worked with children of all different ages and in various settings (nannying, nurseries and schools).
My strengths include having a personalised approach to outstanding behaviour management and exceptional teacher and pupil relationships. Courtesy and good manners are always promoted in my classroom. My class is an organised, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are smiling, laughing, have positive attitudes towards learning and are encouraged to take on challenges.

My lessons are aimed at children from ages 3-10 years old. I offer face to face or online Phonics lessons.
Length of a lesson will be 45 minutes long and will include teaching phonemes, tricky words, stories, and then applying these to writing.
