About Amy
I am a 26-year-old qualified in BA (Honours Level 8) Programme in Montessori Education. I also have a Masters in Inclusion and Special Education. In my past placements and professional roles, I worked hands on with children between the ages ranging from 6 months to 18 years. I have experience caring for all types of children including those who have special needs, at risk and from diverse backgrounds which I feel my patience, personality and creativity leans very well to. I have a-lot of cultural experience, I have waked as special needs teacher in Ireland, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. From my experience working in a special needs school and achieving my Masters in the area I realise that teaching special needs is my passion. I love making and seeing a difference in a child achieving their full potential for me this is most rewarding part of my job and watching them become life-long learners. Open to work with your child during school holidays full days at special rate.

I work with students who have various learning disabilities, developmental delays, or physical disabilities. I am trained to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student in order to address their unique needs and help them make progress in their academic and social-emotional development. In addition to teaching academic subjects such as math, reading, and writing, special education I also focus on teaching life skills such as communication, social skills, and self-care. Can work around the Gold Coast area and consider traveling.
