About Lakshmi
Hi, I’m Lakshmi.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science at Monash University and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
I have experience working in special needs education, and this has shaped the way I teach. I understand that every child learns differently, and I believe teaching should be adapted to the child and not the other way around.
I’m patient, calm, and attentive. I prioritize building trust and helping children feel safe and understood before focusing on academic progress.

My lessons are personalized and paced according to the child’s needs.
I provide academic support for children who may need:
• Extra guidance with reading and writing
• Support with attention and focus
• Structured and step-by-step learning
• Confidence-building in school subjects
• A calmer, more supportive learning environment
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I can adjust depending on the child’s age and attention span.
I use clear instructions, repetition when needed, visual aids, and structured routines to help children feel more secure during lessons.
More importantly, I focus on building confidence and small, consistent progress rather than rushing through content.
My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where children feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
