About Mandy
Hi! I’m a dedicated educator with 6 years of experience working with students across a variety of grade levels and learning needs. I hold dual credentials in General Education and Special Education, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree to continue growing as an educator and better support my students.
Outside of education, I’m a proud dog mom to two dogs, a wife, and someone who enjoys staying active. I love going to the gym and have a passion for motocross. I believe that building genuine connections is an important part of teaching, and I bring patience, positivity, and encouragement into every tutoring session.
I’m passionate about helping students recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and personally.

My tutoring approach is individualized, patient, and student-centered. I recognize that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match their learning style, strengths, and needs. I use clear instructions, modeling, repetition, visual supports, positive reinforcement, and hands-on activities to help students understand and retain new concepts.
A typical lesson begins with a brief check-in and review of previously learned skills. We then introduce the day’s learning goal and break the task into manageable steps. I model the skill, guide the student through practice, and gradually encourage them to complete the task independently. Throughout the lesson, I provide encouragement and constructive feedback while adjusting the pace or teaching strategy when needed.
Lessons may include academic instruction, homework support, study skills, organization, or strategies for improving focus and engagement. My goal is not only to help students complete their work, but also to build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude toward learning.
