I'm Portuguese and I started taking online English lessons with Luísa a few months ago because, although I could already speak and understand English well enough for personal and professional conversations, I felt I could improve my fluency and sound more like a native speaker. My vocabulary has expanded, and I now build sentences that sound less like literal translations. It’s also been great to finally clarify tricky grammar points - like when to use “on,” “in,” or “at” and others.

She makes a real effort to get to know her students, bringing topics that match our interests, which makes the lessons engaging and practical.
