About Imogen
I am a passionate Singing tutor with 6 years of experience, having taught 150–200 students across all skill levels. My approach emphasises personalised learning, ensuring each student’s lessons are tailored to their goals, abilities, and pace. I focus on nurturing confidence, creativity, and a genuine connection to music in every lesson. In my sessions, students develop essential vocal skills such as breath control, pitch, tone, rhythm, and stage presence. I combine technical exercises with creative activities to make learning engaging and effective. Beyond technique, I guide students to express themselves emotionally, helping them perform with confidence and artistry. I am recognised for my empathy, patience, and motivating teaching style. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to experiment, overcome challenges, and celebrate milestones. My mission is to help every student discover their unique voice, achieve their personal goals, and foster a lifelong love for singing.

My Singing teaching strategy is based on understanding and strong student support. I use a flexible method that adapts lessons to suit individual learning styles and musical interests. Empathy helps me connect with students emotionally. I teach with compassion and patience, especially when students struggle with pitch or confidence. I motivate learners with positive guidance and reassurance. Communication is simple and effective. I explain breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, posture, tone control, and expression clearly. I encourage students to ask questions and share feedback openly. Collaboration plays an important role in my sessions. I involve students in planning practice routines and choosing songs they enjoy. In addition to Singing, I teach supportive subjects such as rhythm basics, ear training, pronunciation, and performance confidence.
