About Rantikwane

I'm a proudly South African, prospective medical doctor. I lived in Havana Cuba for 6years where I studied medicine. I was taught spanish at the University of Havana's Latin American School of Medicine in a period of 3months. I started University soon afterwards having arrived in Cuba only knowing 1 word "Ola!" a few months prior.

Living abroad has definitely made me fall in love with the hispanic way of life, their culture, kindness and how Cubans in the busy streets of Havana wouldn't mind to spare 5min to explain things to you. I basically learnt Spanish in Spanish since less than 3% of Cubans are fluent in English.

Learning spanish is relatively challenging but what is life without a challenge? The triumphant feeling of overcoming a challenge is unmatched. The easiest way to learn is to start thinking, dreaming and talking in spanish. Expose yourself to spanish music, movies and social media pages. As to how long will it take for you to be a basic spanish speaker to being fluent, depends entirely on you.
I was thrusted into the deep end and I had to learn in 3months in order to start medical school.

About the lesson

My methodology is very dynamic and diverse. Rangers from monologs, dialogs, dramatization, taking the classroom outside to interact with the environment and Keeping the learning environment productive and simulating.
