About Jane

I am passionate about life-long learning for both the young and more experience learner. I believe that any student can achieve regardless of background. I love seeing a student gain confidence and expertise in my subject and I always aim to transfer an enthusiasm for the language and culture of the country. I qualified in 2000 from the University of Bristol and have taught in Dorset and Hampshire throughout my career.

About the lesson

I look forward to introducing the novice learner to the Spanish language and scaffold and support your learning as you develop expertise in the language. Lessons are 1 hour long and would involve a variety of skills. Alongside secondary school teaching I have experience in tutoring. As you become more advanced, we focus on grammar concepts enabling you to become more independent as a learner of the language. More advanced students can receive tutoring for A-level and beyond.
