About Alba
I graduated of English & Spanish by the University of Valencia in 2018 and I continued my studies in the UK doing a MA in Computational Linguistics in the University of Wolverhampton. Since then I have been living in the UK and teaching both languages at all levels.
I have a wide experience in the field of the education and a strong background when it comes to teach a foreign language. During my years in the UK, I have been working closely with the education sector, working in Language academies, mainstream Primary schools and highschools as well as SEND settings amongst others. I have a wide experience teaching Spanish for GCSE, A levels and international exams as well as English as a second language for all levels and certificates.
I am a very friendly and empathetic person since I have been in the same situation as you when learning English as my L2. Languages are my passion and I always try to transmit this emotion during my lessons. I like my students to understand what they're learning and to enjoy studying a new language without feeling shy or insecure. I am very open to suggestions and I will always take into account your needs or feedback about any topic related to your learning. Please feel free to ask or comment at any point and I will help in everything I can.

I have a wide experience teaching both Spanish and English as a second language in both my country (Spain) and the UK.
I have got a degree in English Studies and a master's degree in Computational linguistics where I have learned that there are different types of students, and each students learns in a different way.
All my years of experience in the teaching sector have shown me different approaches to reach my student's needs. Therefore all my lessons are personalised to your needs and type of learning.
I believe personalised lessons are one of the key factors to be successful, so during our first contact I will ask you what things about the language interest you more, what are your objectives and what are you expecting fom these lessons.
According to what you're looking for, we can plan the goals together and I will always welcome any feedback or suggestions, this is not a one way system type of teaching, but I also want to know how you feel about your progress.
