About Annie
I am a native Spanish speaker with roots in Nicaragua where my mother was from. I was born and grew up in culturally diverse Los Angeles, CA. I gained certification in Spanish by taking an aptitude test so my proficiency is strong! I have a passion for teaching the Spanish language and culture for its rich content and beauty as well as it's practical function in our national and international society. Globally, Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language. It could benefit you in so many ways to know this language!

My teaching method is based on Latin and some Greek Roots that are in common with English.
A lesson plan will cover all styles of communication: will consist of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
I am unique as a tutor in that I have 10+ years as a classroom Spanish teacher. I know what it takes to get students comfortable and how to get results.
My lessons can range from Elementary level to working adults that need to learn for job/business and/or career enhancement.
