About Helena

Hi! I am Helena. I am from Murcia (Spain) but I have been living in the UK since 2015. I graduated in Biotechnology from the University of Surrey and currently I am doing a masters in Infectious Diseases at the LSHTM. I am a lifetime learner and love teaching. I have tutored Primary School and A level students in Biology and Maths for 2 years and thought Spanish to international students at University for a year.

About the lesson

My teaching method is using the books the least possible. I like to use flashcards, focus on conversation, and interactive games. In conclusion, I am not a fan of overreading, homework and learning by memory. Nevertheless, as every person is different every student is as well and my methodology will adapt to your strengths and needs!
