About Sarah
Hi :) I’m Sarah, a student at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. I studied in the American curriculum and have been learning in English since kindergarten, which helped me build strong skills in reading, writing, and communication.
I also work as a student tutor at my university, where I’ve gained experience helping students understand their coursework in a clear and simple way. People around me have often told me that I explain concepts well and that I should consider teaching, which encouraged me to start tutoring more actively.
I enjoy helping others because I like seeing students become more confident when they finally understand something they were struggling with.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy supporting students in their learning journey. I know English can sometimes feel challenging, so my goal is to make it easier, more comfortable, and less stressful.
I focus on helping students improve step by step while building their confidence along the way.

Working as a student tutor has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I believe that learning English should be engaging and confidence-building. Whether a student needs help with reading, grammar, oral expression, or functional English skills, I adapt lessons to their goals and current level.
Lessons typically last 1 hour and may include explanations, guided practice, reading exercises, speaking activities, and personalized feedback to help students make steady progress.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as learners who would like additional support in improving their English skills and confidence.
