About Kala

"Developing rhyme schemes, meter, and storytelling in songs forms the core of my creative process. Have you ever wondered if your lyrics truly convey the weight of your ideas? My background includes a BMus Composition from the University of Melbourne.

These 12 years of teaching help me work effectively with home studio owners and adult learners. Complete beginners often find my structured approach to title and concept development helpful for their first tracks.

I specialize in turning abstract ideas into finished songs through consistent editing and rewriting. Chord progressions and writing over chords are tools I use to ground every melody.
