About Mercy

I’m a multifaceted creative that’s been working hard to enter spaces that are male dominated and develop as a producer and engineer.

I have a 1st class degree in songwriting from BIMM. After my degree I was awarded a scholarship by Abbey Road to study Music Production and Audio Engineering. I currently work at the main studio in London in the engineering team.

I’m primarily a songwriter and artist that has worked with major label and indie artists. My music is varied but I am known for my vocal production and arrangement. I’ve been played on BBC Radio 1, 1 XTRA, and BBC Introducing. I’m also in a band for my own music and we’ve played at Glastonbury, We Out Here, and opened up for Lauryn Hill and Grace Jones at The Downs Festival. So I’d love to connect with aspiring singers and writers and pass on my experience!

Producing and engineering greatly service my music creation and I am confident with Logic Pro X, Pro-Tools and Ableton Live (for live performances only). I produce largely on Logic Pro X and then engineer my band and my own vocals in studios. I’m also an engineer at SW6 One studios which services major label artists. If anyone wants to learn how to make beats for themselves or other people - I can be of service. Mixing techniques will also be a part of this as this can make all the difference when producing.

About the lesson

Creating and performing music requires learning but our success is due to our self-expression! My lessons are tailored to individual goals and adapting complicated processes to achieve deeper understanding.

I am a singer/writer/producer/engineer working at Abbey Road Studios. An individual can learn a mixture of practices on whatever they want to know. My main genres are pop, r&b, soul, hip-hop, musical theatre and afropop.

We can create our own plans based on your goals. If anyone is trying to professionally enter the music industry, we can talk about advice as well. Please look at my experience to see what you think you’d need advice for.
