About Shayan
I’m a Software Engineer and Instructor with 5+ years of experience teaching programming and web development, with a special focus on young learners aged 10–16.
My teaching style is patient, practical, and project-based. I explain concepts clearly, demonstrate them step by step, and give students plenty of opportunities to practice and build real projects.
My goal is to make coding simple, engaging, and enjoyable, while helping students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a genuine interest in technology.
I’m committed to providing structured lessons, personalized guidance, and a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My teaching approach is hands-on, project-based, and beginner-friendly. I don’t believe children learn programming effectively by simply watching lectures or memorizing code. Instead, I demonstrate each concept live, explain why and how it works, and then guide the student as they apply it themselves.
The focus is on learning by building. Throughout the course, students gradually create their own websites while learning HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. They will work with real examples such as personal web pages, forms, images, links, layouts, navigation bars, cards, and other components commonly found on modern websites.
What Students Learn
My structured 16-session Web Development course takes students from their first lines of HTML to a complete, live website.
The course covers:
HTML: Website structure, headings, text formatting, lists, links, images, forms, tables, and more.
CSS: Colors, fonts, selectors, borders, spacing, the box model, and modern layouts.
Bootstrap: Professional styling tools, responsive layouts, navigation bars, cards, buttons, and other ready-made components.
Project Development: Students get dedicated sessions to build and improve their own website with my guidance.
Responsive Design: Students learn how to make their website work well across different screen sizes.
Publishing: By the end of the course, students publish their website online and receive a real link they can share.
How a Typical Lesson Works
Each lesson is up to 90 minutes and follows a practical structure:
I introduce and demonstrate the new concept live.
We work through an example together.
The student applies the concept to their own project.
I provide guidance, corrections, and feedback as they work.
We review what was learned and identify anything that needs additional practice.
I also include dedicated review and practice sessions rather than continuously introducing new topics. This gives students time to strengthen their understanding and build confidence before moving forward.
Course Format
The complete program consists of 16 one-on-one live sessions, usually two sessions per week, taking approximately 8 weeks to complete.
Lesson length: Up to 90 minutes
Format: One-on-one live lessons via Zoom
Age: Generally 10–16 years old
Level: Complete beginners to early learners
Prerequisites: No previous coding experience required
Language: English or Urdu
Recordings: Every session is recorded and shared with the student for revision
The course is designed as an introduction to real web development, not as a promise to make a child a professional developer in 16 sessions. My goal is to help students develop genuine confidence, curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a practical understanding of how websites are created.
Most importantly, I want students to finish the course being able to say: “I built this myself.”
By the end of the program, students will have built websites from scratch and published a website online to share with friends and family.
